How much does Xero cost in South Africa?
Xero South Africa publishes monthly prices for Starter, Standard and Premium plans, shown above and billed by Xero in rand. The partner-only Xero Ledger and Xero Cashbook plans are available through One Percent Accounting at the prices shown above, excluding VAT. Setup and training are free with our monthly accounting package.
Is Xero compliant with SARS and South African VAT?
Yes. Xero has South African VAT rates built in, produces the VAT201 figures we file on eFiling, and Xero Payroll generates EMP201 amounts and IRP5 certificates. We check every return before it is submitted.
Can you convert my Sage, Pastel or QuickBooks file to Xero?
Yes. We bring across opening balances, customers, suppliers, open invoices and, where needed, up to two years of comparative history. Conversion is quoted upfront per file and is free when you sign up for monthly accounting.
What is Xero Ledger and who qualifies?
Xero Ledger is a low-cost plan that only Xero partners can offer. It suits dormant companies, property-holding entities, trusts and very small businesses that need annual accounts rather than daily invoicing. We include it in our monthly package for entities that qualify.
Do I need to be in a big city to work with you?
